Creek Critter Crawl with Audubon Naturalist Society
Saturday, October 29, 2 - 4 pm

Locust Grove Nature Center

October 29th was a great day to get your boots wet and find out what kind of bugs, fish, and other critters share our creek.  The sun was shining, the day was warm, and the company pleasant.  We had newbies and pros, some girls scouts, a toddler, and some FoCJC stalwarts .  Thanks go to Gregg Trilling from the Audubon Naturalist Society, who taught us how to collect samples and then identify what we found.  It was easy and fun, and we found out the creek water quality is good and the creek critters diverse!  Keep an eye out for future FoCJC Creek Critter events.
